Builders pay our fee when we sell one of their homes. Most
builders pay buyer's agents 3% of the base price of the home
you buy. However, selling a new home is quite different from
selling a resale home. It is the builder who is going to build
the home. Our services are not as extensive as with a resale
contract. So, we reduce the fee the builder pays us from 3%
to 2% and you are credited with that money to use for builder
upgrades or options when you design your home with the builder.
